Dan took Will to see Dr. Levin today for his check up and shots and what a day!!!
Stats: 24 inches long, 14.3 pounds and in the 50th percentile for weight and 25th percentile for height.
Dr. Levin was very impressed with Will's alertness too. Will was able to follow Dr. Levin around with his eyes and he apparently laughed quite a lot at everyone in the office. He's also wanting to sit up all the time and is getting very strong. He's got such an appetite that the doctor wanted him to start rice cereal so Will got his first taste and seemed to love it :) I mixed some with his formula and he drank it down in just a few short minutes. As I write this the cute little thing is out cold wrapped up warm and snug. We're hoping this means he might sleep longer and let us catch up on our z's. Although, he's been sleeping about 5-6 hours straight already so we can't really complain.
Jackson is still doing well and has been wanting me to "do his hair" in the morning. All this really means is he wants me to wet my hands and rub is head until his hair is "spikey". Apparently, he thinks this is really cool and tells me he looks good....oh, no...watch out ladies!
I have to run, but I wanted to give everyone the news. I'm off for some study time before I hit the hay and am very glad my class was cut short tonight!
Love to all,
Christine

Yep, yep, yep....long nights of sleep are in store for you all! Hope that I did not curse it by saying it....When Dan started on rice cereal about the same age, he was good for a full night's sleep! He had his at the evening feeding-just a couple tablespoons with milk...mom's cream...
Dan was also a quick grower...wait that is not really a word. Ok he grew fast! Good for Dan doing the Dr visit...I always had a hard time taking my babies in to get their "growth shots"..."Mommy loves you now this won't hurt for long"....there goes the shot and the cries after! I still cringe..
Loved hearing about you all!
Don't send off Jackson with the ladies too soon...he is still Mom's little man and way too cute to share!! Hold onto him, Mom!
Hugs to all!!
Mom Umina
